Duvall · Carnation · Monroe · the Snoqualmie Valley

Your business, on its own website, by tomorrow.

You are already on alerts.city, the app most of the valley opens when the river comes up. Your listing there has your hours, photos, menu and specials. Gale Force turns it into a real website on your own domain, and keeps it current from the listing you already edit.

Built in Duvall by the person who built alerts.city.

See yours before you decide.

Type your business name. If it is on alerts.city, you will see it as a finished website in every layout and colour we offer, in about five seconds. Nothing to sign up for.

Three kinds of site. One price each.

Every one of them ends with a site that is yours: plain HTML files, and if you ever want to leave you take everything with you.

How it goes

You say yes

We pick a look together, on the spot, from the previews. I register the domain in your name while we talk.

It goes live

Usually the next day. Your listing on alerts.city already has what a first website needs, so there is nothing to re-type.

It stays current

Change your hours or add a photo on alerts.city, and the website follows overnight. For everything else, email me or, if you own it outright, edit one file yourself.

Examples, one per kind of business

These are made-up businesses, so nobody is playing favourites. Each is exactly what the system produces from a listing plus a few extras. Every one can be opened in every other layout and colour.

Auto

Big Rock Auto & Diesel

A fictional auto shop on the listing-only tier: one page, straight from the alerts.city listing, nothing added.

Three layouts, five colour sets, any combination

A layout is the shape of the page. A colour set is the mood. Pick either in the preview and the site re-draws in front of you.

Classic

Top navigation, a big welcome photo, hours and contact right under it. Familiar and safe.

Split

Hours, phone and address stay pinned on the left while the menu and photos scroll. Built for restaurants and shops.

Story

Edge-to-edge photos and big headlines, one chapter after another. For places with a story and the pictures to tell it.

Harbor

Navy and cream, a serif headline. Established, trustworthy.

Orchard

Deep green and warm cream. Farms, bakeries, anything grown or made by hand.

Ember

Charcoal and orange, bold sans. Bars, breweries, auto, trades.

Linen

White, airy, quiet type. Salons, wellness, studios, professionals.

Slate

Cool grey and electric blue, modern. Contractors, tech, real estate.

Sites I run

Who is building it

I am Jim Gale. I live in Duvall and I built alerts.city, which is why you have probably already seen my work on your phone at two in the morning during a flood.

Before that I spent eighteen years at Microsoft as a principal software engineer, most recently on the Copilot team, with four patents along the way. I have shipped systems that millions of people use and a flood-alert site a small town relies on. Small and reliable is the part I like.

Gale Force, L.L.C. is the company. The websites are built by a system I wrote for exactly this: take what a business already keeps current, make it beautiful, and never hold it hostage.

Straight answers

Do I really own it?

Yes. The domain is registered to you, not me, from the first day. On the "yours outright" plan the code and hosting move to your accounts too. Nothing I do can lock you in, and that is deliberate.

I already have a website. Why change?

You may not need to. If it works and you control it, keep it. If someone else holds the login or the domain, or it has not been updated since it was built, the rescue plan gives you one you control.

How is this different from Wix or Squarespace?

You never touch a page builder. Your alerts.city listing is the editor, and you already know how to use it. It is also cheaper, and when you leave you take real files, not an export.

What if I stop paying?

The site stays up until the year runs out, then I hand you the files and the domain stays yours. You are never left with nothing.

Can I take bookings or sell things?

Yes, through the tools you already use: a booking link to Square, Calendly or whatever you have, and a shop link or Stripe payment links for products. If you need more than links, we talk.

Does this change my free alerts.city listing?

No. The listing is free and stays free whether or not you buy a website. The website is a separate thing that happens to feed from it.
